Who is responsible for your details?

Hire With Harley is an independent recruitment consultancy founded by Harley Craayenstein, based in Green Point, Cape Town. Contact harley@hirewithharley.com about this notice or your personal information.

What we collect and why

When you submit a recruitment enquiry, hiring brief or candidate introduction, we collect the contact and professional information you choose to provide. This can include your name, email, phone number, employer, professional interests, CV and portfolio link. We use it to respond, assess relevant recruitment opportunities, manage the search and maintain related business records.

Please avoid sending identity documents, bank details, health information or other sensitive information through the website. A submitted application does not guarantee employment or placement.

Your choices

The form asks for your agreement to process your details for the enquiry. Optional recruitment updates have a separate checkbox and are not required to submit the form. You can withdraw that choice by emailing Harley. We do not treat an enquiry as automatic permission for marketing.

Anonymous talent profiles

Public talent profiles show a pseudonym, professional summary, skills and general location. Real names, email addresses, phone numbers and CVs are private. Harley records candidate agreement before publishing an anonymous profile and handles identifiable introductions personally.

Storage and access

Records and uploaded documents are stored using the website’s hosted database and private file storage. Access is restricted to authorised Hire With Harley administrators. Hosting services may process information outside South Africa. We retain recruitment details while relevant to the enquiry or agreed search, and business records as required for legitimate business and record-keeping purposes. Contact Harley to confirm whether you would like to remain in the candidate pool.

Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, object to processing, withdraw consent or stop updates. Email Harley with sufficient detail to identify your record; we may verify your identity before acting. Any records that must be retained for legal or contractual obligations will be explained in response.

Cookies and technical information

The public website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Essential sign-in cookies are used for the private administrator workspace. Short-lived, hashed rate-limit records help prevent form abuse. We do not publish visitor contact details or uploaded files.
